Cops Seek Pair in Attempted Bellmore Burglary
The two climbed onto a patio chair and tried to break into a home in June, police said.

Nassau Police are searching for two people who tried to break into a Bellmore house one afternoon last month.
At 4 p.m. on June 30, the pair were seen outside a home on Orange Avenue, cops said. Using a patio chair, the pair reportedly tried to pry open a rear window of the home. They broke the window in their attempt and fled to Merrick Road in a silver minivan, cops said.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about the attempted burglary to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
