Crime Report: Missing Dog Returned to Family, Vehicles Damaged
The following arrest information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department; it does not indicate a conviction.

- On July 25, a GPS and camera were removed from vehicle that was parked on Camp Avenue.
- A vehicle parked on Merrick Avenue was keyed and a smiley faced was carved into the hood on July 30.
- The Merrick family whose dog disappeared after a burglary were reunited with their canine companion on Aug. 3.
- On Aug. 3, a vehicle windshield and driver's side front window was broken. The car was parked on Alfred Road.
