County Legislator Dave Denenberg recently honored Temple of Israel of South Merrick in honor of its 50th anniversary. 

Denenberg proudly presented the temple with a county citation during a ceremony. 

Temple of Israel of South Merrick was founded in 1963 to provide potential members with a more modern conservative Judaism, according to its website.
