Clavin Holds Big Leads As He Seeks Another Term As Supervisor

Incumbent Legislator Michael Giangregorio is way ahead of his 12th District opponent.

MERRICK, NY — Don Clavin appears to be headed to victory in his re-election bid for Town of Hempstead, according to unofficial results from the county.

Through 48 percent of the precincts reporting from the Nassau Board of Elections, Clavin had 65 percent of the vote.

Former Hempstead Supervisor Kate Murray was outpacing her Town Clerk opponent with 63 percent.

In the County Legislature, Incumbent Michael Giangregorio (Republican) has 67 percent, as he led Matthew Pasternak for the 12th District seat.
