MERRICK, NY — The Calhoun High School girls track team is conference champs for a fourth straight season.

They were led by Sara Manson, who won the hurdles, long and triple jump. She scored 30 points and is currently ranked number two in Section VIII for the hurdles and top three for both long and triple jump.

"Sara has a drive, focus and mentality that is unmatched," coach Joseph Migliano said. "She has been with team since her eighth-grade season and has been a huge part of our success. She has really turned herself into a true leader and role model for all the younger girls. She sets the standard for Calhoun track and field."
