Lakeside Musicians Strike A Chord At Winter Concert

MERRICK, NY. — Dec. 16 and 17 was winter concert season at Lakeside Elementary School, with young musicians from Lakeside’s band, chorus and orchestra taking the stage to show off the product of months of rehearsal in their music programs.

Performances took place during the school day for the other students at Lakeside, while evening concerts on both days were open to community members. District officials said the concerts were made possible by music teachers Ivy Chatanow, Elizabeth Comito and Jeffrey Glemboski, who, “helped bring this special concert season to life.”
