Mammography Van to Visit North Merrick

County Legislator Dave Denenberg will bring a mammography van to the North Merrick Public Library on Thursday. 

The mammograms are no-cost to women over 50 without insurance. Women with insurance will be billed a co-pay and their insurance company will also be billed.  

Those with health insurance must bring a prescription for the mammography from a physician.  

Attendees are required to show photo ID at the time of the mammogram and those who have had a mammogram through the Nassau Health Care Corp., must bring prior films to their screening.

Screenings will take place from 8:45 a.m. to 12 p.m.
