MAMS Celebrates Spirit Week

Students and staff at Merrick Avenue Middle School recently celebrated the school's spirit week.

MAMS hosted two pep rallies-one for seventh graders and another for eighth graders-- and several themed days including Sports Team Day, College Day, Crazy Hat Day, Pajama Day and Black and Gold Day. 

Student athletes were also honored during the rallies.

“This is a great opportunity for the students to come together and show their unity as a school,” Principal Meador Pratt said. “It was great to see so many students enjoying this week’s events. This is what we call MAMS pride.”
