Man Steals Bike, Displays Knife In Nassau Altercation: Police
Amir Attoussi was also responsible for two larcenies that occurred earlier this year in Nassau County, police said.
ROOSEVELT, NY — A Queens man was arrested for an incident that took place on Wedneday evening in Roosevelt, police said.
A male victim, 21, agreed to sell a bicycle to an unknown potential purchaser through Facebook Marketplace. Both parties agreed to meet in the vicinity of Nassau Road and East Fulton Avenue, police said.
The man tested out the bicycle but did not return or render payment. A short time later, the victim located the man, Amir Attoussi, 23, police said.

After a brief struggled, Attoussi displayed a knife at the victim, authorities said.
Officers located Attoussi placed him under arrest without incident and recovered the knife, police said.

It was later determined that Attoussi initially gave police with false information regarding his name. He is also responsible for two larcenies that occurred in February and May in Nassau County, police said.
Attoussi is charged with first-degree robbery, third-degree criminal mischief, false impersonation, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
He is scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday.
