Merrick Fall Festival, Bellmore-Merrick CHSD Public Discussion
A look at what's happening in and around Merrick this week.

1. Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District Public Discussion: The district will host a public discussion on its proposed building renovation project, a plan that will provide critical infrastructure updates to the district's seven buildings. The meeting will take place on Wednesday at the district administration building at 7:30 p.m.
2. Breast Cancer Screenings: Legislator Dave Denenberg will bring a mammography van, in which women can get free screenings, to the North Merrick Public Library on Thursday from 8:45 a.m. to 12 p.m. Appointments are required. To reserve a spot, call Denenberg’s office at (516) 571-6219.
3. Meet Me at the Musee d’Orsay in Paris: Join Louise Cella Caruso as she “stands” in this spectacular setting, the center of Paris, on the banks of the Seine, opposite the Tuileries Garden and steps from the Louvre Museum at North Merrick Public Library on Friday at 1:30 p.m.
4. Merrick Chamber of Commerce Fall Festival: The Merrick Chamber will host three days of international foods, rides and fun beginning on Friday.
