Pedestrian Injured In Hit-And-Run Nassau Crash With Motorcyclist: Police

ROOSEVELT, NY — A man was injured in a hit-and-run crash on Thursday morning in Roosevelt, police said.
A 57-year-old man was crossing Nassau Road when an unknown motorcyclist struck the pedestrian, throwing him to the ground in the vicinity of Grenada Avenue, police said.
The motorcyclist, after striking the victim, then struck a 2017 Hyundai that was in traffic, causing damage before fleeing north on Nassau Road, police said.

The pedestrian suffered a right leg laceration and abdominal pain and was transported to an area hospital for treatment, police said.
Police released a video of the suspect, who was seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and a black backpack.
