Pizza Grabbed From Delivery Man In Nassau: Police
Three men were taken into custody for the Wednesday evening robbery, police said.
ROOSEVELT, NY — Three people were taken into custody for a robbery in Roosevelt on Wednesday night, police said.
A 32-year-old male employee at Domino’s was attempting to deliver a pizza to a residence on Woods Avenue when he was approached by three men who stated they ordered the pizza and told him to give it to them, police said.
When the victim asked for payment, one of the men proceeded to forcibly grab the pizza from him while another man forcibly grabbed a plastic bag containing soda, authorities said.

In the process, the victim was pushed and spit on, police said.
The males fled on foot northbound on Union Place towards Whitehouse Avenue. The male victim remained at the scene and called police.

Officers responded and soon after observed a 2004 Grey Hyundai occupied by the three men near the scene of the incident, police said.
After conducting an investigation, Nicholas Brown, 19, of Lynbrook, Jaden Taylor, 18 of Rockville Centre, and a 17-year-old male juvenile were placed under arrest without incident, police said.
All three men are charged with second-degree robbery, police said.
Brown and Taylor were expected to be arraigned on Thursday. The 17-year-old was scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday at the Youth Section of First District Court in Hempstead.
