  1. Jerry Barmash reports that a house fire broke out in Lakeview early Wednesday at 3 Ronkonkoma Ave. at 2 a.m. All residents were evacuated with no reported injuries. (Patch)
  2. News 12 explains that Levittown schools are dealing with another COVID-19 outbreak. Lee Road Elementary School saw 16 reported cases last week. Salt Middle School had 43 students and teachers at home with COVID-19 early this month. (News 12)
  3. Census data for Nassau County shows demographic shifts in 2020. Nassau's white, non-Hispanic population decreased by almost 10 percent, and the Asian-American population increased by more than 4 percent.
