Shooting in Roosevelt Injures Two
Both men refused to cooperate with police after incident after going to hospital.

Two men were injured in aΒ shooting early Dec. 6 in Roosevelt.
According to Major Case Bureau detectives, First Precinct officers received a call for shots fired at Pennsylvania Avenue and W. Clinton Avenue at 2:13 a.m.. During an investigation at the scene, officers were told an area hospital was treating a gunshot victim, a 23-year-old male from Central Islip, who was shot in the arm, a treatable injury.
A short time later another area hospital notified police regarding a possible second victim from the scene. A 22-year-old male from Hempstead was found to have suffered minor abrasions, possibly from gunshot fragments.

Both victims refused to cooperate with the investigation, and detectives are requesting anyone with information regarding the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
