A taxi burst into flames in Merrick Thursday near the Long Island Rail Road station.
The fire appeared to be contained to the front of the cab, which was on Sunrise Highway near the station, according to photos posted by Merrick Hook And Ladder Company #1 on Facebook.
Nassau Police did not have any further details on the incident.
