Taxpayer Assistance Program, Yoga Teacher Training

1. Taxpayer Assistance Program: Nassau County Legislator Dave Denenberg, D-Merrick, will present a taxpayer assistance  program at Merrick Public Library on Tuesday. 

2. Schools Open: Merrick and North Merrick Schools will begin a new academic school year on Tuesday. 

3. 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Fuel The Soul: Merrick's Fuel the Soul will offer a 200-hour yoga teacher training starting on Saturday. 

4. Library Card Month Begins:  Merrick Public Library will celebrate National Library Month. Children who sign up for their first library card will receive a variety of gifts.
