Woman Touched Inappropriately At Nassau Supermarket: Police

UNIONDALE, NY — A woman was forcibly touched at the Stop & Shop at the Merrick Mall, police said.

Delano Brathwaite was located in Uniondale and taken into custody for the Monday afternoon incident, authorities said.

Brathwaite, who does not have a residence, was found in possession of several credit cards that did not belong to him, police said.

Police are investigating.

Brathwaite is charged with five counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and forcible touching, police said.

He was arraigned on Tuesday.
