12-Year-Old, 5 Others Injured When SUV Flips Over In Hudson Valley
Police said the child was one of two people ejected from the vehicle.

WALLKILL, NY — Six people were injured, including a 12-year-old, when a car flipped over several times on a highway in the town of Wallkill.
The New York State Police Middletown are investigating the crash that happened on Route 17 westbound near exit 119 in the town of Walkill.
Preliminary findings found the crash occurred around 8:25 a.m. Friday.

A Honda Pilot, traveling with six occupants, left the roadway and flipped several times, causing two people to be ejected from the SUV.
One of those ejected was a 12-year-old boy who was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center in serious condition.

The vehicle’s other occupants were taken for treatment at Garnet Health Medical Center in Wallkill.
Police said this is an ongoing investigation. Troopers are asking anyone who may have witnessed the accident to call the State Police Middletown at 845-344-5300.
