HUDSON VALLEY, NY — A second-prize-winning ticket worth $1 million was purchased in the Hudson Valley for the March 25 Powerball drawing.
New York Lottery officials said a second-prize-winning ticket worth $1 million was sold for the March 25 Powerball drawing at Smokes 4 Less, 59 North Plank Road in Newburgh.
The winning second-prize ticket was the result of choosing all five numbers without the Powerball.

There were also five third-prize-winning tickets for the March 25 Powerball sold in New York, one of which was purchased in the Hudson Valley.
A third-prize-winning ticket worth $50,000 was sold at the Ardsley Snack Mart, 730 Saw Mill River Road in Ardsley. Other third-prize tickets were sold in Buffalo, Flushing, Ridgewood and West Seneca.

To win a third prize, customers must have correctly chosen four numbers plus the Powerball.
Winning numbers for the March 25 Powerball drawing are 7-11-19-53-68, with a Powerball of 23, according to the New York Lottery website.
The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69.
The red Powerball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26.
Powerball drawings are televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing is now $856 million. That would mean a cash payout of $416.1 million.
