2 Dutchess Men Accused Of Selling Fentanyl
Both arrests were the result of investigations led by the Dutchess County Drug Task Force with the help of the Poughkeepsie city police.
POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — Two Dutchess County men were arrested after being accused of selling fentanyl.
The Dutchess County Drug Task Force said Tyrese Elting, 24, of the town of Poughkeepsie, was charged Tuesday with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony
The arrest was made in the town of Poughkeepsie with the assistance of the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit.

The task force also reports the arrest Tuesday of Brandon Mima, 20, of the city of Poughkeepsie. He was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felonies.
Mima’s arrest was with the assistance of the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department Neighborhood Recovery Unit and patrol division. He is currently under the supervision of the Dutchess County Probation Department on an unrelated case.

Both men were arraigned in the City of Poughkeepsie Court and released to reappear on a future date.
Officials said both arrests were the result of separate investigations led by the Dutchess County Drug Task Force with the assistance of the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department that started earlier this year regarding fentanyl and crack cocaine sales in the city and town of Poughkeepsie.
