2 Powerball Tickets Worth $100K Sold In Hudson Valley
The third-prize-winning tickets were doubled because of the Power Play option.
HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Three third-prize-winning tickets purchased in New York for the Dec. 25 Powerball drawing — including two in the Hudson Valley — will bring $100,000 to whoever bought them thanks to the Power Play option.
New York Lottery officials said the three third-prize-winning Power Play tickets were sold at:
- Smokes 4 Less, 59 North Plank Road in Newburgh
- Le Man Pharmacy, 623 McLean Ave. in Yonkers
- 145 Food Plaza Corp., 701 Lenox Ave. in Manhattan
On Dec. 25, the winning numbers were 5-12-20-24-29 with the Powerball of 4, according to the New York Lottery website.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Powerball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26.
When purchased the Power Play option provides players with a chance to multiply non-jackpot prizes up to 10 times. The Dec. 25 Power Ball doubled the prize.

Powerball drawings are televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
