21-Year-Old Victim In Fatal I-84 Crash ID'd By NY State Police
The Nissan Sentra had been speeding when it left the roadway, struck a tree and became engulfed in flames.

MONTGOMERY, NY — State police have identified the victim of an early morning, single-car crash on I-84.
The New York State Police say that on Saturday, around 2:57 a.m., troopers responded to a one-car collision on I-84 west near exit 28, in the town of Montgomery.
An initial investigation found that a 2017 Nissan Sentra had been driving west on I-84 at a high speed, when it left the road for unknown reasons, hit a tree, and became engulfed in flames.

Firefighters from the Maybrook Fire Department and the Mechanicstown Fire Department extinguished the vehicle fire.
The driver and only occupant of the vehicle was extricated from the car and pronounced dead at the scene. He was later identified as 21-year-old Melvin Moultrie, of Middletown.
