3 3rd-Prize Powerball Tickets Sold In NY; 1 In Hudson Valley

One of the winning tickets is worth $100,000; the two others, $50,000.

FISHKILL, NY — There were three third-prize winning Powerball tickets for Wednesday's drawing purchased in New York, including one in the Hudson Valley.

New York Lottery officials said one of the tickets was worth $100.000, and the other two were worth $50,000 each.

The $100,000 ticket is a Powerplay win, according to lottery officials. It was purchased at the Players Cafe on Bleecker Street in Manhattan.

The two winning $50,000 tickets were sold at:

  • Flory Mobil Mart, Schuyler Drive in Fishkill
  • Zee Smoke & Convenience, 14th Street in Manhattan

The winning numbers for the July 27 game are 1-25-44-55-57, with a Powerball of 26.

Powerball costs $2 per play. For an extra $1, players can add Powerplay, which multiplies a prize — not including the jackpot — by up to 10 times.

Winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Powerball number is drawn from a separate field of one to 26.

Powerball drawings are televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m.
