3 Accused In Fatal Shooting Of Man In Kingston

They were all charged with second-degree murder and two counts of first-degree burglary

KINGSTON, NY — Three people were accused of fatally shooting a man in Kingston Thursday.

The City of Kingston Police Department said, around 9:20 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to a report of someone shot on Prospect Street near Greenkill Avenue.

Kingston Fire Department and Mobile Life Support Service were sent at the same time.

On arrival, responders found a man dead from a gunshot. He was identified as Dominique Green, 28.

Following an investigation, Shaliza Dhanraj, 26, of Rotterdam, Schenectady County, Maliek Fredericks, 25, of Schenectady, and Nyqwan Monroe, 25, of New York City, were located and arrested.

They were all charged with second-degree murder and two counts of first-degree burglary, all felonies.

The trio was sent to Ulster County Jail without bail.

Kingston police were assisted in the investigation by the Town of Ulster Police Department, the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office, the New York State Police, the Town of Colonie Police Department, the City of Schenectady Police Department and the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office.

Police said the investigation continues.
