3 Arrested As A Result Of Search Warrant In Poughkeepsie

Fentanyl, cocaine and money were seized inside the residence, law enforcement said.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — Three people were arrested in the city of Poughkeepsie Friday after a search warrant was executed at a Mansion Street address.

The Dutchess County Drug Task Force said agents executed the search warrant with the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services Unit at 339 Mansion St. in the city of Poughkeepsie.

Fentanyl, cocaine and money were seized inside the residence, the task force said.

The following arrests were made:

  • Dyani A. Sanders, 43, of Poughkeepsie, third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony. He is being held in custody pending arraignment in the City of Poughkeepsie Court.
  • Tami Halloran, 47, of the city of Poughkeepsie, third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony. This indictment and warrant was the result of a previous investigation conducted by task force. She is being held pending arraignment in the City of Poughkeepsie.
  • Kimberly Smith, 58. She was wanted by the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department in regard to stolen property. Smith was turned over to the police department.

Officials said these accusations and arrests are examples of numerous cases the Dutchess County Drug Task Force is actively investigating county-wide into the sale of cocaine, fentanyl and other dangerous drugs.

Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that is 50 to 100 times more potent than morphine. Fentanyl and cocaine have been linked to an overwhelming number of overdose deaths in Dutchess County.
