3 Injured In Rollover Car Crash On I-84 In Newburgh
Police said one person received a serious head injury and had to be extracted from the car.
NEWBURGH, NY — Three people were injured — one seriously — after a rollover accident on Interstate 84 in the town of Newburgh.
The accident happened around noon Wednesday on the eastbound I-84 in Newburgh.
There was a report of possible entrapment, police said.

The preliminary investigation found that a blue 2007 Honda Civic was going east on I-84 when the driver — Jahzaiah D. Daughton, 20, of Middletown, lost control, causing the car to leave the highway and roll into the median.
Two passengers, 15- and 21-year-old females, received minor injuries and were taken to St. Luke’s Hospital by ambulance.

Daughton was unconscious and was extracted from the car by Orange Fire.
He was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital with a serious head injury.
This incident remains under investigation, police said.
