37-Year-Old Victim In Fatal Pedestrian Crash ID'd By Authorities
Investigators are searching for a vehicle that left the scene and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact NYSP.

ULSTER COUNTY, NY — Authorities have identified the 37-year-old pedestrian struck and killed Thursday night in Rosendale.
New York State Police say that on Thursday, around 8:19 p.m., officers responded to a report of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle on Route 32 in the town of Rosendale.
An initial investigation found that a 2013 Toyota was traveling north on Route 32 when a pedestrian, identified as 37-year-old Victoria Cooper, of Kingston, entered the roadway and was struck by the Toyota.

Upon impact, Cooper was knocked into the southbound lane, where she was then run over by an unidentified vehicle that left the scene.
The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene and contacted police.

EMS administered life-saving measures, but Cooper ultimately succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
State police say they are searching for the unidentified vehicle and the investigation is still ongoing.
