3rd-Prize Powerball Ticket Sold In Orange County

GOSHEN, NY — A third-prize winning ticket for the May 15 Powerball drawing was purchased in the Hudson Valley.

New York Lottery officials said the winning ticket — worth $50,000 — was sold at Goshen Exxon, 400 Greenwich Ave. in Goshen.

The winning numbers for the May 15 Powerball drawing are 1-26-28-55-58, with a Powerball of 25.

To win the third prize, four numbers plus the Powerball must have been chosen correctly.

Numbers are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Powerball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26.

Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m.
