MONROE, NY — The purchase of the Powerplay option for Powerball resulted in one third-prize-winning ticket worth $250,000 being sold in the Hudson Valley.
According to the New York Lottery, the winning ticket for the June 28 Powerball drawing was sold at Jai Pavan Putra Inc./Sunoco at 1197 Route 208 in Monroe.
Winning numbers for the June 28 Powerball drawing are 19-25-34-57-68, with a Powerball of 4, per the New York Lottery website.

The numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Powerball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26.
When purchased for $1 per play, the Powerplay option provides players with a chance to multiply non-jackpot prizes up to 10 times.

For the June 28 drawing, the Powerplay option was multiplied by five, increasing the regular third-prize from $50,000 to $250,000.
Powerball drawings are televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
The jackpot for the Saturday drawing for Powerball is now $493 million.
