3rd-Prize-Winning Powerball Tickets Sold In Hudson Valley
There were two tickets — both worth $50,000 — sold in New York, according to lottery officials.
NEWBURGH, NY — Two third-prize-winning Powerball tickets for the Sept. 6 drawing were sold in New York, one of which was in the Hudson Valley.
New York Lottery officials said the tickets — both worth $50,000 — were purchased at:
- Smokes 4 Less, 59 North Plank Road in Newburgh
- 7-Eleven #27187, 53 West Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays
Winning numbers for the Sept. 6 Powerball drawing are 9-14-20-23-63, with a Powerball of 1, according to the New York Lottery website.

To win the third prize, players must have chosen four of the numbers plus the Powerball.
The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Powerball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26.

Drawings for Powerball are televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
