43-Year-Old Who Threatened Family With Fork Charged With Hate Crime: Police
He threatened a family with the metal fork, specifically because of their ethnic origin, according to the Town of Ulster Police Department.

ULSTER, NY — A Hudson Valley man has been charged with a hate crime after police say he made threats against a simply family because of their race.
Patrick T. Mascalino, 43, of Lake Katrine, was arrested on Nov. 14, after causing a public disturbance by intentionally targeting and threatening a family with a metal fork, specifically because of their ethnic origin, according to the Town of Ulster Police Department.
Mascalino was charged with felony second-degree menacing as a hate crime, misdemeanor aggravated threat of mass harm, and misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

No injuries were reported by police in connection to the disturbing incident.
