5,000+ Central Hudson Customers Still Without Power Tuesday
The utility company made significant progress in Columbia, Dutchess and Ulster counties.

MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Central Hudson made significant progress in storm restoration in the wake of Sunday's severe thunderstorms.
However, another outage is affecting parts of Orange County as of Tuesday morning.
In an email to customers early Tuesday morning, Central Hudson said it was on track to have power restored to Columbia, Dutchess and Ulster counties by Tuesday evening.

The outage summary at 11:30 a.m Tuesday shows Columbia County fully online and scattered outages in Dutchess with the estimated restoration of 10 a.m. Tuesday.
In Ulster County, there are fewer than a thousand customers without electricity. The estimated restoration is set for noon Tuesday.

Orange County, though, shows more than 2,600 customers waiting for power to come back, with 1,400 in the village of Cornwall and more than 300 in the town of Cornwall. The power company estimated service will be restored by 2 p.m. Tuesday.
In the town of New Windsor, there are 900 outages and there is no estimated restoration at this time.
