50-Year-Old Woman Shot After A Crowd Fights On The Street

CITY OF POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — The City of Poughkeepsie Police Department says that on Friday, around 9:06 p.m., City 911 received a report of a large fight and shots fired on Delafield Street.

Once patrol units and detectives arrived on the scene, a 50-year-old woman was found with a gunshot wound to her foot. She was taken to the hospital.

Police say that evidence was recovered from the scene and two were detained pending interview.
