Brooklyn Man Caught With 36 Pounds Of Pot On Parkway: NYSP
Police said the man was also driving while intoxicated.

PLEASANT VALLEY, NY — A Brooklyn man was arrested on the Taconic State Parkway after being accused of lots of marijuana.
The New York State Police said Eric Huang, 33, of Brooklyn, was arrested Dec. 22 and charged with first-degree criminal possession of cannabis, a felony, and driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
Troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2008 Acura MDX on the parkway in the town of Pleasant Valley for violations of the vehicle and traffic law.

An investigation determined that Huang was operating the vehicle while impaired and was arrested.
Further investigation found he was in illegal possession of more than 36 pounds of cannabis.

Huang was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Pleasant Valley Court Tuesday.
