Cache Of Weapons And Drugs Found In Hudson Valley Home: NYSP
The Troop F Violent Gang Narcotics Enforcement Team seized crack, fentanyl, cocaine, guns and cash at the property, according to NYSP.

CITY OF NEWBURGH, NY — A multi-jurisdictional sting at a Hudson Valley home netted big results, according to authorities.
New York State Police say that on Wednesday, the Troop F Violent Gang Narcotics Enforcement Team, the Troop F Community Stabilization Unit, the City of Newburgh Police Department, and the Town of New Windsor Police Department executed a search warrant at a home on Henry Avenue, in the City of Newburgh.
The investigation resulted in the seizure of four handguns, two rifles, an AR-style fiream, a shotgun, assorted ammunition and magazines, around 28 grams of crack-cocaine, approximately 14 grams of cocaine, an estimated 14 grams of fentanyl, and around $3,190 in cash.

Police say that 27-year-old Lakeem L. Thompson, of Newburgh, was then arrested and taken to SP Montgomery for processing.
He was charged with felony second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felony third-degree possession of a controlled substance, and felony third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (intent to sell).

Thompson was arraigned in the City of Newburgh Court and remanded to the Orange County Jail on $20,000 bail. He is scheduled to return to the City of Newburgh Court on a future date.
