Chance For Thunderstorms In Parts Of Region: Hudson Valley Weather
Lower temperatures and humidity will be a pleasant change from most of last week.
HUDSON VALLEY, NY — What a difference a couple of days make. Lower humidity and temperatures are what most of the Hudson Valley will experience for the start of the work week.
The only meteorological wrinkle is a hazardous weather outlook for Columbia, Dutchess and Ulster counties.
The National Weather said there is a chance of non-severe thunderstorms Monday afternoon for those three counties.

Otherwise, high temperatures for the Hudson Valley will be in the low 80s, with temps dipping to around 60 overnight.
For Putnam, Rockland and northern Westchester counties, there is a 20 percent chance of showers after 2 p.m. Monday.

Southern Westchester could see some showers before 11 p.m.

- Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 78. North wind around 7 mph.
- Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 53. North wind around 5 mph.
- Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 78. North wind 3 to 5 mph.
- Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 59.
- Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 80.
- Thursday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers after 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 64.
- Friday: A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
