Cops Looking For 2 Suspects Who Left Gun Behind After Brawling

The C02-powered tactical pistol was equipped with a red dot sight, and was loaded with metal ball ammunition, according to Red Hook police.

RED HOOK, NY — Police in Dutchess County are asking for your help identifying two brawlers who left a gun behind after the fisticuffs.

The Red Hook Police Department says that on Tuesday, around 9:25 p.m., officers responded to an area of Tobacco Lane after receiving a report of a fight taking place between two men.

By the time patrols arrived at the scene, both men had already fled the scene on foot. Red Hook police and New York State Police canvassed the area, but were unable to find the suspects.

Police say a black revolver pistol was recovered at the scene. It was determined to be a C02-powered tactical pistol equipped with a red dot sight and was loaded with metal ball ammunition.
