Drug Task Force Raid At Hotel Nabs Fentanyl Dealer: DA
A large amount of cash and fentanyl packaged for sale was seized in the raid at the Best Western Inn at the Falls in Lagrange, cops say.

LAGRANGE, NY — A drug task force raid at a Dutchess County hotel led to the arrest of a fentanyl and crack dealer, according to officials.
The Dutchess County District Attorney's Office Drug Task Force said the action was part of ongoing investigations into narcotic and dangerous drug sales in Poughkeepsie and surrounding areas.
Drug Task Force agents began purchasing fentanyl and cocaine at various locations in Dutchess County from 42-year-old Joseph A. Adams, according to police.

Those agents then obtained a search warrant for a room at the Best Western Inn at the Falls in the Town of Lagrange. In the early morning hours of Wednesday, Drug Task Force agents, assisted by the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office Emergency Services Unit (SWAT) and the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office Patrol Division, executed a search warrant at that location and took Adams into custody.
Adams was in possession of a large amount of cash and fentanyl packaged for sale at the time of his arrest, police said.

He was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and felony criminal sale of a controlled substance.
Adams was arraigned in the Town of Lagrange Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail with no bail.
