Drug Task Force Raid Leads To Woman Suspected Of Dealing Coke From Motel Room: DA
Agents report finding cocaine, packaging material, and scales in the 31-year-old woman's Hyde Park room.

HYDE PARK, NY — An undercover operation took down a drug dealer who hung her shingle at a Dutchess County motel, according to law enforcement officials.
The Dutchess County District Attorney's Office Drug Task Force announced that it has arrested 31-year-old Yelonnie Johnson, of Poughkeepsie, in connection to the sale of narcotics and dangerous drugs in the Town of Hyde Park and nearby areas.
Authorities say the investigation started after the Drug Task Force received info about drugs being sold from a Town of Hyde motel room. Agents began purchasing narcotics from Johnson, and a search warrant was obtained for her motel room residence, investigators said.

On Wednesday, Drug Task Force agents executed the search warrant at the room in the motel and Johnson was taken into custody. Cocaine, packaging material, and scales used for the distribution of narcotics were seized inside the room, according to cops.
Johnson was charged with felony third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

She was arraigned in the Town of Hyde Park Court and released to the supervision of probation.
The Dutchess County District Attorney's Office Drug Task Force says it is "working every day in our communities holding narcotic and dangerous drug dealers accountable," in a statement announcing the arrest.
The Drug Task Force was assisted in the investigation by the Dutchess County District Attorney's Office Dangerous Drugs and Violent Crime Unit, the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office Road Patrol Bureau, the New York State Police Community Stabilization Unit, the City of Beacon Police Department, the Town of Fishkilll Police Department, the Town of East Fishkill Police Department, the Town of Hyde Park Police Department, and the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department.
