Dutchess County Fair Offers Food Fun And Crafts
The fair takes place from August 23 to 28 in Rhinebeck.

If you enjoy the fun and fixings of a good county fair, take out your calendar and note the dates of August 23 to 28. That's when the Dutchess County Fair will place on Route 9 in Rhinebeck.
The Dutchess County Fair is the second largest county fair in New York State and features over 300 vendors. The fair takes place on the Dutchess County Fairgrounds, which consists of over 140 acres of finely manicured gardens and grass. For 170 years the fair has featured farm animals, agricultural exhibits and horticultural displays. This year will be no exception.
The county fair is just the place to sample tasty summer treats, such as cheese fries, deep fried Oreos and funnel cake, and to shop for a variety of crafts. General admission is $15 for adults. Children under 12 are free at all times. Senior citizens and military with ID are $10, and admission for all is $10 on Tuesdays. You can buy ride discount tickets. On Wednesdays, you can buy a ride wristband for $25 and ride all day. You can find more information about tickets and the fair here.
