Dutchess Man Arrested For Unsuccessful Bank Robbery Attempt: NYSP

Law enforcement found him at his home after he fled from the bank on foot.

PLEASANT VALLEY, NY — A man from Pleasant Valley was accused of trying to rob a bank in Dutchess County.

The New York State Police said Daimion Lowe, 26, of Pleasant Valley, was arrested Saturday for third-degree attempted robbery, a felony.

Troopers were sent by Dutchess County 911 to the Chase Bank on Main Street in Pleasant Valley for a robbery.

Police said Lowe was unsuccessful in his attempt to rob the bank and fled on foot.

Investigators located him at his home a short time later.

Lowe was arraigned in the Pleasant Valley Court and sent to the Dutchess County jail in lieu of $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond

He was next scheduled to appear before the court June 20.
