Elderly Pawling Man Accused Of Exposing Himself To Women, Girls

County sheriffs have lodged one count of public lewdness.

PAWLING, NY — A local man is accused of intentionally exposing his private parts to women and girls in public, according to sheriffs.

Daniel J. Dorn, 75, of Pawling, was charged Aug. 28 with public lewdness, a misdemeanor, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office.

Following his arrest, Dorn was released on an appearance ticket. He is due in court on Sept. 9.

The sheriff’s office initiated an investigation on Aug. 25 after being alerted by the mayor’s office of reports of someone exposing himself to women and young girls, according to the sheriff’s office.
