Felony Charges After Neighbor Fired Shotgun At 60-Year-Old's Car During Argument: NYSP
She was getting mail from an Orange County home, but was confronted by the man with a gun when turning around in a driveway, police said.

WAWAYANDA, NY — A dispute escalated into gunfire at an Orange County home, according to state troopers.
New York State Police say that on Sunday, around 12:20 p.m., troopers from Greenville responded to County Road 12, in the town of Wawayanda, after receiving a harassment complaint.
Police say a 60-year-old woman was retrieving mail from the home and then drove up the driveway to turn around. However, at the top of the driveway, she was confronted by 35-year-old James M. Blake, and a 32-year-old woman.

During the altercation, Blake retrieved what seemed to be a shotgun and discharged a round towards the 60-year-old's vehicle, causing damage. No injuries were reported.
Blake was arrested and taken for processing without incident. He was charged with two felony counts of first-degree attempted assault (intent to cause serious injury with a weapon); two felony counts of first-degree reckless endangerment, felony second-degree criminal possession of a weapon (loaded firearm); felony second-degree criminal use of a firearm; misdemeanor second-degree menacing; and misdemeanor fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Blake is scheduled to appear in the Town of Wawayanda Court on Thursday.
