Free Farm Stand Tuesday At People's Place In Kingston
A free tote bag, information on storing fruits and vegetables, a free raffle and children's goody bags will be given out.

KINGSTON, NY — In collaboration with People’s Place, Fidelis Health Care will be offering their program "Veggies to Go" at the weekly Free Farm Stand on Tuesday.
The event begins at 9 a.m. in the People’s Place parking lot at 17 St. James Street.
A free tote bag and information on how to properly store fruits and vegetables will be provided to all attending, while supplies last. In addition, as part of this initiative with People’s Place, there will be a free raffle and all children in attendance will be given goody bags courtesy of Fidelis Health Care.

Any Ulster County resident with financial challenges can utilize this seasonal program, which runs every Tuesday morning from 9-11 a.m. (or earlier if all is distributed) through the end of October, People's Place officials said.
No ID is required.

The weekly Free Farm Stand distributes fresh produce, dairy and shelf stable food items, much of which is donated by local Hudson Valley farms and is in partnership with the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley.
The mission of People’s Place is to feed, clothe and respond to the essential needs of the people in Ulster County with kindness, compassion, and the preservation of human dignity.
