Greenport Woman Accused Of Selling Puppy With Forged Documents
State police said it is believed there may be other victims.
GREENPORT, NY — A Columbia County woman was accused of selling a puppy with forged health documents.
The New York State Police said, on May 19, Theresa Frederick, 56, of the town of Greenport, was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony, and second-degree scheme to defraud and third-degree forgery, misdemeanors.
Police said Frederick sold a Pomeranian puppy and forged documents regarding its health and vaccinations.
