Homeowner Threatened With Knife During Home Invasion Burglary, 3 Arrested: Police

Kingston police said the three men robbed the victim of cash and a cellphone inside an Ulster County home.

KINGSTON, NY — A Hudson Valley homeowner survived a terrifying suprise, but was violently relieved of valuables by unwelcome guests, according to police.

The Kingston Police Department says that they investigated a robbery that took place at a residence in the city on August 1.

Police said three people robbed a victim of money and a cellphone inside the victim's home. One of the suspects also threatened the victim with a knife.

Soon after the investigation was started, the three suspects were found and arrested near Broadway and West Chester Street.

Brandon Navas, 22, of Ellenville, was charged with felony first-degree robbery, felony first-degree burglary, felony second-degree robbery, felony third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and misdemeanor seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Lee Perry, 23, of Kingston, was charged with felony first-degree robbery, felony first-degree burglary, and felony second-degree robbery.

GB M. Sweeney, 22, of Kingston, was charged with felony first-degree robbery, and felony second-degree robbery.

All three were arraigned in Ulster County CAP Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail.
