Hudson Man Had Illegal Drugs, Illegal Weapons: NYSP

Police said that the execution of a search warrant found a stolen weapon, a large sum of money and crack cocaine.

HUDSON, NY — A Columbia County man was accused of having illegal drugs and weapons.

The New York State Police said Antonio McCalop, 43, of Hudson, was arrested Tuesday and charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and two counts of criminal possession of a firearm, all felonies.

Subsequent to the execution of a search warrant issued by the Columbia County Court, investigators said they found a large sum of United States currency, a stolen Taurus 9mm handgun, a .22LR caliber AR style rifle and about 50 grams of crack cocaine.

Police said McCalop was sent to the Columbia County Jail without bail.
