ID Of Man Killed In Friday Night House Fire Released By Officials
Fire crews from Florida, Pine Island, Warwick, Goshen, Chester, Greenwood Lake, Washingtonville, Silver Lake & Slate Hill were on scene.

VILLAGE OF FLORIDA, NY — Officials have identified the victim killed in a tragic Orange County fire.
The Town of Warwick Police Department says that on Friday, at 8:06 p.m., the Florida Fire Department, the Pine Island Fire Department and the Warwick Police Department received a report of a house fire on Wheeler Road.
First units on the scene were met with heavy fire at the back of the three-story house spreading quickly from the ground floor up to the roof. They were also informed that the owner of the house was unaccounted for.

Firefighting and search operations were started immediately and Fire Chief Ronald Heter requested help from other fire departments, including Warwick, Goshen, Chester, Greenwood Lake, Washingtonville, Silver Lake and Slate Hill.
Once the fire was mostly controlled, firefighters found the body of 69-year-old Louis Miloszewski, the only resident of the house.

Police say they were assisted by the Orange County Fire Coordinators Unit, the Fire Investigative Unit, Warwick EMS, the Orange County Arson Task Force, the Orange County Sheriff's Office, and the Orange County Medical Examiner's Office.
There were no reported injuries to any of the firefighters on scene.
Authorities say the cause of the fire is still under investigation, but foul play is not suspected.
