The first day of school may be closer than you think. So, it’s time to dust off those backpacks and make some plans. To help, here are some important dates noted in the Ulster County BOCES Board of Cooperative Educational Services.
Labor Day (school closed): Sept. 5
Superintendent’s Conference Day: Sept. 6
First day of school: Sept. 7
Rosh Hashanah (school closed): Oct. 3
Columbus Day (school closed): Oct. 10
Veterans Day (school closed): Nov. 11
Thanksgiving (school closed): Nov. 24-25
Holiday recess: Dec. 26-Dec. 30, Jan. 2 (school resumes Jan. 3)
Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday (school closed): Jan. 16
Regents Exams: Jan. 24-27
President’s Day: Feb. 20
Holiday recess: April 10-14
Memorial Day recess (school closed): May 29
Regents Exam: June 13 - 23
