K-9 Vinn Finds Hidden Compartment Stuffed With Cocaine In 'Trap Car' During Taconic Stop: NYSP
The driver from Brooklyn was arrested on felony drug charges, according to the Troop K Community Stabilization Unit.

EAST FISHKILL, NY — A Brooklyn man went to great lengths to keep contraband hidden, but a K-9 named Vinn smelled something fishy, according to New York State Police.
On Monday, at 12:27 p.m., the Troop K Community Stabilization Unit stopped a vehicle on the Taconic State Parkway, in the Town of East Fishkill, for traffic violations.
The driver was identified as 52-year-old Kasein Deleston, of Brooklyn.

NYSP K-9 Vinn conducted an exterior scan of the vehicle, which resulted in a positive alert for drugs. A search by troopers led to the discovery of a hidden compartment containing around 162.6 grams of cocaine, according to NYSP.
Deleston was arrested and charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, and felony criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.

Deleston was arraigned in the East Fishkill Town Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Justice and Transition Center. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 5.
